Tales of a sweet, sweet Summer
As the season slips from Summer into Autumn, we’ve been reminiscing back over a beautiful summer of weddings in 2021. The past year may have brought all of us many different challenges; but here at Little Green Wedding Barn we’re delighted to say that it’s been happiness and sunshine all the way for our happy couples, for their guests and for us too. We’re so proud to help create fabulous forever memories; so, if you’re dreaming of your own perfect wedding – the first thing you need to do is to set your perfect date. Throughout this summer we’ve been lucky to see so many of our couples choose to take the opportunity to split their celebrations across both our stunning traditional 17th Century Grade II Listed Barn as well as the beautiful outdoor surroundings too and we know that there’s been many a ‘Kodak Moment’ captured on the tree swing this year!
Your wedding day is very special and should be individual to you. This summer we’ve been amazed by the ideas and imagination that our couples have brought to their perfect day and we just love to watch your ideas and dreams come spectacularly to life. Special touches that will inject life and colour into your photographs - smoke bombs have certainly been a particular favourite this summer. We’ve seen it all – from incredible wedding cakes to die for (the Cheese Tower Cake was a particular favourite … yummmmy, we love a savoury option – why not!), to the all-white Bouncy Castle (secretly we think the grown-ups loved it even more than the children did!). Decorations have ranged from stunning fragrant and colourful fresh flowers to macramé; from pom-poms to balloons and from Moroccan floor rugs to Caribbean vibes with steel drums and plenty of parrots.

Whilst summer is a glorious time for a wedding, now we can begin to look forward to a whole new season of wedding celebrations – Autumn. It’s a simply stunning season, with those wonderfully rich, warm colours as the leaves fade to a glorious array of shades of red, orange and yellow. Creating a fabulous background for the photo album and no doubt there will be lots of incredible new ideas from our couples whose imagination seems to know no bounds. We’re here to help and we’re firm believers that whatever time of the year you choose for your wedding, we can help to make it special and individual just for you.
